This December my mom retired and moved back to the country she is from, Costa Rica! As a graduation gift I received a plane ticket to Costa Rica from my family and I’ll be headed there with my sister on Sunday for TEN days!  It will be my first time there and also my first time taking a non-climbing trip somewhere, although I may get to climb while I’m there.

I made some contacts with people in Costa Rica who climb and I am going to try and do some bouldering or sport climbing while there. I will take lots of pictures and report back to you! Other than checking out the climbing I’m hoping to see tons of animals and see a real live volcano!

I’m not sure how internet will be there but I will try to keep everyone updated and post some pictures if I can.
